Our Awesome Four Sentences




Noun - a noun is a person, place, or thing
Ex) Jessica went to Applebee's and ordered the huge steak.
Person, place, or thing - Jessica, Applebee's, and steak
Is there a verb, adjective, or an adverb? - an adjective is in this sentence ( huge.) No verb, or an adverb.

Verb - a verb is a word that shows action
Ex) Elizabeth ran to her nana and papas house.
The verb - ran
Is there a noun, adjective, or an adverb? - a noun is in the sentence ( Elizabeth.)
(What we are thinking was that we will have a picture of Elizabeth, another picture of her nana and papa, and a picture of her grandparents house.)




Adjective - describes a noun or a pronoun
Ex) Brianna went to an awesome friends hotel.
The adjective - Awesome.
Is there a noun, verb, or an adverb? - there are no nouns, verbs, or adverb.

Adverb - an adverb ALWAYS ends with -ly. It also describes a verb.
Ex) Elizabeth, Jessica, and Brianna happily went to Kennywood.

Is there a noun, adjective, or a verb? - There are three nouns (Elizabeth, Jessica, Brianna and Kennywood) There are no adverbs, or verbs in the sentence.
(What we want to do is put a picture of the three of us, a picture of Kennywood, and that's it, NO 3rd picture at all.)
